can they drive to work without noticing the hills?
do they wish they lived somewhere on the coast, somewhere flatter?
do you ever get tired of my hand in yours?
or the weight of my head when i fall asleep on your shoulder?
is this how you expected your life to be?

I adore this. God, those feelings of uncertainty just eat you alive, don't they. And knowing that you should always be appreciating your surroundings because you never know when they will leave you.

this is beautiful. i feel like the first half makes you think, and the second makes you worry. i am constantly remembering how much i take the beautiful things all around me for granted. it is hard to remember to just SEE things sometimes.
